Netherlands will face Bosnia-Herzegovina and Poland in this break in the Nations League as well, with the Dutch side third in the group at present after four games.
They are without a win in their last four games, with new boss Frank de Boer yet to really strike on a winning formula since Ronald Koeman departed for Barcelona.
Spain have been inconsistent of late but are top of their Nations League group, where they will face Switzerland and Germany after this friendly.
