The English contingent will be hopeful of putting up a fight, however, with 2019 winners Liverpool keen to bounce back after failing to sufficiently contend in defence of their trophy last year. Manchester City are craving the one trophy they haven’t laid their hands on with manager Pep Guardiola, who recently signed a new contract at the Etihad Stadium, desperate to win it again after doing so twice in Barcelona.
