Despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side just a point away from clinching a last 16 berth, there are only three points separating the Red Devils from both PSG and RB Leipzig. Edinson Cavani will hope to feature against his former team, having joined United on a free transfer after being released by the Ligue 1 champions, and the Uruguayan is in fine form after his brace earned victory against Southampton last weekend.
Thomas Tuchel has admitted Marcus Rashford’s recent record against the Ligue 1 side is beginning to get “annoying”: “We value him very much when he plays in England and not Parc des Princes, honestly, because (him scoring against us) gets a little bit annoying”. Neymar and an own goal from Danilo leave us level at the break. That’s good enough to see United through to the last 16 as it stands.

44’ – Man United 1-1 PSG
Final minute of a very busy first half. A couple of skirmishes between Neymar and McTominay over the last few minutes and the forward isn’t happy that they keep going unpunished.

40’ – Man United 1-1 PSG
Paredes and Fred go into the tackle, the PSG man wins the ball and the already-booked United midfielder stands on his foot. Somehow the ref decides it’s a yellow card for…Paredes.
How is Fred still on the pitch?!

36’ – Man United 1-1 PSG
Mbappe shifts the ball and curls at goal, but Lindelof diverts it behind. PSG seem to have been stirred back into action by that equaliser.

GOAL – 32’ – Man United 1-1 PSG
Martial’s dribble and strike forces a save from Keylor; Wan-Bissaka turns the rebound to Martial and his shot looks another easy save – until Danilo sticks out a toe and diverts the ball past his goalkeeper and into the bottom corner for an equaliser. 1-1 at Old Trafford!

30’ – Man United 0-1 PSG
A better spell of possession for United over the last five minutes but no real chance at the end of it. Pogba is sent out to warm up down the touchline.

26’ – Man United 0-1 PSG
Back to the actual action. McTominay heads at goal after a corner but Keylor makes an easy save again. United not creating much in open play and Cavani hasn’t got himself involved yet.
Tuchel is not impressed that Fred didn’t see red.

Yellow card for Fred…and he is a very, very lucky guy. He seems to have the yellow for a foul, but he definitely moved his head into Verratti’s and the ref went to check the VAR monitor, before deciding it wasn’t a red card offence. Strange one.

Rashford and Fernandes link up outside the box and the striker curls a low effort at goal, but it’s an easy save for Keylor. Mbappe then leads a counter-attack which ends in a blocked shot from Verratti and a looped overhead kick from Neymar, which is saved by De Gea.
