The Madras High Court on Wednesday lifted its ban on the downloads of video-sharing app TikTok after the company said there’s technology in place to ensure nude/obscene content is not uploaded. Apple and Google last week removed TikTok from their India app stores following instructions from the government. TikTok owner ByteDance had argued the ban will hurt free speech rights.

Apple and Amazon, which have earlier crossed the trillion-dollar milestone may do so again after their upcoming earnings reports.

The US’ Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on Thursday launched its Instagram account with a post captioned, “I spy with my little eye.” The CIA said the Instagram account would help with recruitment of “talented Americans” and sharing agency stories. However, it said that “we can’t promise any selfies from secret locations”.
